ServeBot

ServeBot began as a student-driven research project at Robious Innovations, aimed at exploring the feasibility of deploying autonomous robots in hospitality environments. The prototype focused on core challenges: real-time obstacle avoidance, tray-stable navigation on uneven surfaces, and intuitive human interaction. Built on an open robotics stack and tested in simulated café and restaurant settings, ServeBot validated the core concept through iterative academic experimentation. The learnings, architecture decisions, and field observations from ServeBot directly informed the design and engineering of ServeBot-X — the production-grade industrial product now in active development.
